About
Anna has worked as choreographer for her own dance company as well as for productions at Teatro alla Scala, Salzburger Festspiele, Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Oper Dortmund, Oper Bonn, Bayerische Staatsschauspiel München, Läckö Castle, Theater Konstanz, Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel Munich, Theater St Gallen, Junge Oper Nationaltheater Mannheim, as well as for smaller independent theatre groups.
She is member at the choreographic association Tanztendenz e.V. in Munich since 2006 and she’s been a member of Teaterförbundet in Sweden since 2013.

Artistic Leader
Since 2020 Holter initiate, direct and produce the award winning short-film series Moving Isolation – an artistic diary, that has won great international response at numerous festivals.As Artistic Leader Anna Holter created 12 pieces for the company Anna Holter + Company, founded in 2001. The dance company was supported by many institutions notably Kulturreferat der Landeshauptstadt München, Fonds Darstellende Künste, Bayerische Landeszentrale für Zeitgenössischen Tanz and the Swedish embassy in Berlin. She toured with the company internationally and her production "Meeting with Oneself" was selected to represent Germany at the dance festival Danse à Lille.
Dancer/Actress
As a dancer she has worked at Theater Basel, Tanzquartier Wien, Dansens Hus Stockholm, Queen Elizabeth Hall London, Bunka Kaikan Opera Tokyo, Prinzregententheater Munich, Schauburg - Theater der Jugend, Bayerische Staatsoper and Bayerische Staatsschauspiel, to mention a few. She has worked with choreographers and directors like Rosemary Butcher, Achim Freyer, Amir Hosseinpour, Marco Santi, Michael Keegan-Dolan, Mia Lawrence, Itztoc Kovac, Johannes Schmid, Charlotta Öfverholm and Milli Bitterli.Director
